Pay Your Maintenance Fee Online (If you Want!)

In response to the many requests from members for an option to pay the club fees and purchase guest passes with a credit card, the Club has configured the pool website to accept secure payment for the 2016 maintenance fee and guest passes. To pay your fees online, visit the Fees and Guest Passes page.

Because the club is charged additional fees for credit card payments, the cost to pay the maintenance fee and purchase guest passes is slightly higher online than if you choose to use the traditional "check in the mail" approach.

Before May 1st, online payment of the maintenance fee is $400, which includes your 5 free guest passes that you may pick up at the front desk. An additional block of 5 guest passes can also be purchased for $22 online.

After May 1st, maintenance fees will increase on the published late fee schedules, plus $15 for the credit card convenience fee.

Members who still wish to pay their maintenance fee with a check may do so at the normal rate ($400 before May 1, 2016).

The Special Activities Team is Ready for Summer!

Katherine Hawthorne and Kerry Dangerfield are making preparations for a FUN FILLED summer at Greenbriar Pool Club Inc. We've planned Youth Nights, Late Nights, Adult Nights and Rafternoons! Check out the calendar for even more.

Opportunities to VOLUNTEER to help at these events are numerous. We are looking for everything from folks to be at the events to make sure they run smoothly from start to finish with the guests and vendors, set up, run kids games, man the food lines, work the grill and help clean up!  Please contact the pool if you see an event you are interested in. The Old Fashioned Family 4th is one of our biggest events where we need the most volunteers.

If you are a college student looking for internship opportunities, please contact the pool. We are looking for a couple of energetic students to help out with Special Activities this summer.

Looking forward to seeing you all around the pool!

Attendees to the 2014 Club General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, February 19th, elected three new members to the club’s Board of Directors. Joining the board for three-year terms are Peter Bayer, Kevin Corcoran, and Kerry Dangerfield. The three new board members replace three outgoing members whose terms expired this year: Deb Cannon, Denise Pitts, and Patti Powers.

We offer a big thank you to Deb, Denise and Patti for their work on behalf of the club during their terms and look forward to seeing them enjoying the pool as “civilians.”

Thanks also to John Ayers, Tim Metzinger, and Jim Williams who were also willing to throw their hats in the ring arun as candidates for the Board at the meeting. The club is stronger when such good candidates volunteer their time to serve in its leadership.

Following the General Membership Meeting, the new Board organized:

  • Peter Harsha, President
  • Karen Myers, Vice President
  • Baard Grindal, Treasurer
  • Kevin Corcoran, Secretary
  • Katherine Hawthorne, Special Activities
  • Kerry Dangerfield, Concessions
  • Mary Bolton-Owens, Swim and Dive Team
