Opening weekend is traditionally very popular. Given the pool capacity is 248 individuals, and to allow members (and renters) priority in using the pool, access is restricted only to members & renters (in good standing) during Memorial weekend (May 25-27). Guest passes are not accepted during this weekend.
Other dates where guest passes are not accepted include:
Independence Day - Thursday, July 4
Labor Day - Monday, September 2
The board voted to extend the rental deadline to June 15, 2019.
Please note:
Rental applications will only be processed if the membership is in good standing, i.e. the 2019 maintenance fee has been paid.
If you choose to rent your membership between April 16 and June 15, please let your renter know that access to the pool will not be granted until the rental application is processed, which can take several weeks.
The 2019 Maintenance Fee is $425. You may send a check (made out to Greenbriar Pool Club) to the pool’s mailbox at 13001 Point Pleasant Drive, Fairfax, VA 22033. It must be post-marked by April 15, 2019. Please be sure to include your member number on the memo line of the check.
Please DO NOT send anything via FEDEX, UPS or USPS that requires a signature (FEDEX will not leave a package even if no signature is required). There is no one at the pool to sign for it and it will not be delivered. If you would like to know if your package/letter was delivered, please send it via USPS Certified Mail, but DO NOT attach the green return receipt signature card. You will be able to use the tracking number provided to see if it was delivered to our mailbox.
To pay online, click on the “Maintenance Fees and Guest Passes” link under the Membership section. Paying online costs $440 ($425 + $15 convenience fee).
Rental Applications are also due by April 15th. We’d prefer to receive them as early as possible to minimize the load on our staff. EDIT: The rental deadline has been extended to June 15, 2019. Please see the more recent announcement regarding this for more information.
