Greenbriar Pool Club Recycling Policy

Our recycling program allows members of the Pool Club to participate in recycling!

The pool now has four recycling receptacles (each with Blue Tops), situated around the pool. We will only be recycling Plastic Bottles and Aluminum Cans, please dispose of all other items in the regular trash receptacles.

Each of the receptacles will be emptied daily into our larger collection containers located by the main dumpster enclosure.

More specifics around what we will collect: Commingled (Cans, Aluminum Cans and Plastic Containers): All metal cans, aluminum cans, and #1 through #7 plastic containers can be recycled. The pool board appreciates your assistance in reducing the material that we dispose of at the Fairfax County Solid Waste Recovery Center by placing as much of our recyclable material into the recycling stream. If you would like to see how the waste generated at the pool is converted into renewable energy, please visit the Fairfax County Solid Waste Management website. Please e-mail the pool board at board@greenbriar.org with any questions you may have about the GBPC recycling program.
