That’s a Wrap on Summer! (Don't Worry, We’re Still Making Waves)

August 22, 2026 by Admin

Hey Greenbriar Families,

As we wind down another fantastic summer at the pool, we have a few fun upcoming events, a quick winter program update, and an important safety reminder for our community. Take a quick look below at what’s happening on deck over the next couple of weeks!

Snack Bar News & Upcoming Events

A huge thank you for your business this year—the Snack Bar team has loved serving everyone all season long! As we wrap things up over the coming weeks, our inventory will start to wind down and we may run out of a few favorite treats. We appreciate your understanding!

Before we officially close up shop, be sure to join us for our last two big events:

  • Back to School Sundaes | Sunday, August 23rd

  • Celebrate heading back to school with a sweet treat!

    1. Tickets: $3.50 at the Snack Bar (cash, card, or tap-to-pay).

    2. Serving starts: 3:45 PM during Rafternoon—trade in your ticket for a fresh sundae piled high with your favorite toppings! (See the flyer for more details.)

  • Labor Day BBQ & Closing Jump | Monday, September 7th

  • Celebrate the final day of the season with great food and good company!

    1. Food: A selection of $5 meal deals will be available at the Snack Bar.

    2. Tradition: Stick around for one last swim and join in on the annual Closing Jump to officially close out the 2026 season.

Important Safety Note: Parking Lot Etiquette

We want to keep everyone safe as they arrive and leave the pool!

Recently, there have been local neighborhood reports of motorized bikes and scooters being ridden recklessly, and local police are actively stepping in. Unfortunately, we’ve seen similar behavior—including stunts, racing, and reckless riding on bikes, e-bikes, and scooters—right in our own pool parking lot by both members and non-members.

A quick reminder of our pool policy:

  • The Rule: Skateboarding, rollerblading, and scooter use are not permitted in the designated parking lots.

  • Purpose: The parking lot is strictly for transportation parking—not for trick riding, racing, or hanging out.

  • The Risks: Reckless activity puts people and vehicles at serious risk. Violations can result in loss of pool privileges for members or trespassing citations for non-members.

A quick favor: If your kids bike, scoot, or board to the pool unaccompanied, please take a moment to chat with them about keeping their wheels slow, safe, and parked right away. Thank you for helping us keep our community safe for everyone!

See you at the pool!
