As a reminder, members may check the headcount status on the pool website here: http://enet.hopto.org/gbpool.html. The recent upgrades performed by the service provider have made it more reliable and faster to respond.

Update Regarding End of Season Pool Operating Hours

A reminder about end of season Pool hours. Through the end of the season, the Pool's operating hours are as follows:

During the weekdays through the end of the season, the Pool will open at 4p and close at 8p.

Guests are NOT allowed on Labor Day weekend. Operating hours for Labor Day weekend are as follows:

Friday (Sep. 2) - 11:00AM - 9:00PM
Saturday (Sep. 3) - 11:00 AM - 10:00PM
Sunday (Sep. 4) - 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Monday (Sep. 5) - 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM

A reminder that the LAST Pool day of the season is Monday, September 5.

End of Season SNACK BAR Potential Deals!

The Board wants to sincerely thank our Pool Snack Bar Manager, Tina Campbell, for her hard work this summer managing the Pool Snack Bar. We encourage members to come by these last two weekends of the Pool being open and check out the snack bar! We currently have excess inventory of certain foods, ice creams and snacks. Tina will be evaluating potential discounts and other specials the final two weekends of the year on snack bar items.

Special Activities / Extracurricular Events Update

Please MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the following upcoming special events at the Pool:

Saturday, August 27 - 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Laid Back Adult Late Night - Not catered, BYOB, and local DJ favorite (and Pool member) Baard Grindal. Please note the event ends at 11p in lieu of 12a.
Saturday, September 10 - 12:00 PM - 2:00PM - Dog Days of Summer Swim Day - For the first time in recent Greenbriar Pool Club history we are opening the Pool up for a 2-hour doggy paddle swim session prior to NV Pools winterizing and shutting down the Pool at the end of the season. To participate, members' dogs must be more than a year old, well-behaved, up-to-date on vaccines, in good health, and have not recently travelled to any area where there has been an outbreak of canine illness (such as the recent canine parvovirus breakout in Michigan). Members will need to agree to specific "Ground Rules" established by the Board on the day of the event, and will be required to sign a liability waiver. Please be on the lookout for additional communications in this regard.
